New to public tenders? Plain-English guide to this page
- Framework
- An agreement that sets terms for work the buyer may order later, often from several suppliers. The value shown usually covers the whole agreement, not one job.
- Open for bids / closing date
- You must submit by the closing date and time, normally through the buyer's own online portal. Late bids are normally refused.
- Clarification questions
- A deadline for asking the buyer questions about the tender. It is earlier than the closing date.
- Conditions of participation
- What the buyer asks suppliers to show before they can be considered, such as experience, insurance or accreditations.
- Bids are scored on
- How the buyer will compare bids, usually a split between price and quality. A 60/40 split in favour of quality means the cheapest bid will not necessarily win.
- Lots
- A tender can be split into parts. You can often bid for only the lots that suit you.
- Area (ITL)
- The buyer names an official statistical area for where the work is, not a street address. Check the tender documents for the actual sites.
- UK4 and other notice codes
- Official codes for the type of notice. A "tender notice" means bids are being invited.

Description
The London Borough of Bromley and the Southeast London Integrated Commissioning Board (SELICB) will be undertaking the recommissioning of the Dementia Post Diagnosis Support Service (Dementia Hub).
It is a comprehensive support service for people who have been diagnosed with Dementia, their Carers and the professionals who support them.
The Service aim is to improve health and wellbeing, reduce and/or delay the need for costly or intensive services by delivering support in the community. The Dementia Post Diagnosis Support Service is an established pathway from the point of diagnosis to the point when a person becomes eligible for statutory services.
The Service is jointly commissioned by the Council and SELICB. The Council intends to tender for a new service contract which will be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to two years commencing on 1 July 2027.
The Council and SELICB will be holding a providers’ engagement event on 2nd November 2026 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM via MS Teams. The aim of the event is to engage with current and potential delivery providers and inform them of the Council’s Commissioning approach and shape the service delivery model.
